In the signing ceremony of the MoU, Amir Yousefi Moghadam, Secretary General of the Iranian Association of Islamic Finance (IAIF), Alireza Kamandi, Secretary of Int. Affairs at IAIF, Ayatollah Sheikh Shabbir Hassan Maisami, Chairman of Al-Sadiq Institute and Member of the Advisory Sharia Committee of the State Bank of Pakistan, Syed Mazhar Abbas Zaidi, Executive Member at Al-Sadiq Institute and Askar Akhondzade Zahedi, Advisor to Chairman of Al-Sadiq Institute at political affairs attended.

At the beginning of the meeting, Amir Yousefi Moghadam discussed the history and measures of the Association in the field of promoting Islamic finance and holding MBA and DBA courses in the Islamic capital market, then Alireza Kamandi pointed to the activities of IAIF in the international area.

After that Ayatollah Shabir Hassan Maisami explained the mission of Al-Sadiq Institue in the direction of spreading Jafari jurisprudence in the field of Islamic finance in Pakistan, calling for further expansion of the cooperation between Pakistan and Iran in the field of Islamic finance.

In this meeting, the Iranian Association of Islamic Finance and Al-Sadiq Institute agreed to review auditing standards based on Jafari jurisprudence, identify elites of seminaries and universities to train them Islamic finance practically, hold joint Islamic finance programs and courses, and build more capacity in Islamic finance.

It is worth mentioning that Al-Sadiq (a.s) Institute provides Islamic finance services in Islamic banking and Takaful area.
